The HG+ hollow-shaft gearhead made alpha the first manufacturer ever to develop a gearhead of this type capable of mastering even the most challenging servo applications. The HG+ is a low-backlash hypoid gearhead with a hollow-shaft, right angle design. Its numerous advantages include high torque and speed, gear ratios in a single stage, low noise combined with high efficiency and freedom from wear. The HG+ consequently offers a constant torsional backlash as well as perfect reversibility with all ratios.
With innovative performance characteristics, a novel hollow-shaft flange output and impressive application flexibility, TK+ is a high-precision, multi-purpose product. The TK+ is built for entirely new applications that were always out of reach of traditional, larger-sized bevel gearheads. Thanks to its innovative hypoid gearset, TK+ achieves much higher torque transmission than conventional designs. Higher speeds, especially for shafts that previously demanded a combination of a planetary stage and a bevel gear, and higher single-stage reduction ratios are the tangible result. TK+ runs as smoothly as a worm, yet resists fatigue incredibly well.
The SK+ right-angle gearhead puts an end to high-speed coaxal drives and slow-speed right-angle drives compromises – the vision of high productivity in a small space is now a reality. Positioning tasks implemented with a rack-and-pinion system represent another potential area for SK+. alpha offers these systems in two precision classes – Smart Class and Premium Class – both of which are compatible with SK+. The complete unit is supplied by alpha with the pinion preassembled on the gearhead; in addition to the numerous benefits inherent in these high-performance racks, customers also profit from the extremely quick alpha mounting method compared to conventional products.
