A New Epic Motherboard For Embedded Applications
Tiny But Full Featured Low Power EPIC Motherboard
EMB-4670 adopts Intel® TunnelCreek E6xx(E620/E640/E660/E680 optional) integrated processors for the small form factor low-power embedded applications. It integrates the 45nm Intel Atom processor core (512K L2 Cache, a 24K Data and 32K Instruction L1 cache), the 3D graphics engine and video encode/decode, plus memory and display controllers in one package, offering a radical reduction in the board dimension. Onboard 1GB DDRII memory, tiny but full featured, this board is a preferred choice for those space-restricted, low power industrial and embedded applications.
Dual Independent Display, 2D/3D Graphic Supported
The processor integrated Intel ® Graphic Media Accelerator (GMA)600 Graphic engine with a max.mum graphics core clock of 400MHz supports 2D/3D graphhic functions at an optimized consumption. Board also supports hardware acceleration and HD video decoding (MPEG4 part 2, H.264, WMV , VC1) and encoding (MPEG4 part 2, H.264). Onboard one LVDS and one VGA port supports dual independt display function.
Flexible I/O for Better Compatibility
Intel® Atom™ processor E6xx series depart from the Intel proprietary chipset interfaces to an open-standard industry-proven PCI Express™ v1.0 interface, that allows it to be paired with customer-defined IO Hub (IOH), ASIC, FPGA, and off-the-shelf discrete components. Powered by this flexible low power processor, EMB-4670 definitely also shows great flexibility in its I/O: six serial ports, four USB2.0, one CAN, one PC/104, one PCIe x1, 8bit GPIO and two Gigabit Ethernet ports, offering rich I/O options and better compatibility. Its flexible I/O and powerful network connecting can meet the I/O and connecting requirements posed by customers during their embedded design and development.
Currently, this product has passed strict system tests and has been for market applications.
